We can travel miles and miles with in few hours and this was seemed impossible in the past

It means that technology has made easier life of farmers and it has increased their standards of living like they can get crops out of season. Similarly period of ripening crops is reduced so you can get a crop twice in a season. There are many advances of latest technology and science in the field of medicine which has increased the ratio of living people. 

Now there are only few diseases which have no treatment but there is a hope too that their treatment will e soon discovered. People with disabilities are no more burdens on their family. Apart from benefits there are disadvantages too as we have less time for our friends and family now.
